BIO

ELLE is a highly acclaimed street artist whose work captivates with evocative, lavish, and thought-provoking themes. Her journey from the underground graffiti scene of New York to becoming one of the world's most sought-after street artists is nothing short of inspiring. As highlighted in Xavier Tapies' book, Women Street Artists, "ELLE has created some of the most memorable walls in all street art."

Her artistic influence extends globally, with exhibitions at prestigious institutions such as the Saatchi Gallery in London, the Urban Nation Museum in Berlin, and a monumental 200-foot projection onto the façade of the New Museum in New York. ELLE's work has been celebrated in Vogue Australia, featured in "32 Pieces of Melbourne Street Art to See Before You Die," and has even made its mark in popular culture, appearing in the Tom Clancy video game The Division.

ELLE's artistic versatility is evident through her dynamic collaborations. She partnered with Reebok to create the ELLExReebok graffiti legging, followed by the ELLExReebok yoga capsule collection. Her creative vision extended to a 40-meter wrap-around mural at Nike Headquarters in Melbourne and an augmented reality installation with Samsung for the Berlin Mural Fest. She also joined Steve Aoki in the Asics campaign "I Move Me," sharing how movement fuels her creativity, and starred alongside Dani Leigh in the television series Graffiti Artists x Rappers. Notably, her portfolio includes a global collaboration with IKEA and an invitation to work with Kanye West's creative agency, Curio.

ELLE's work transcends mediums and locations. In New York, she has crafted large-scale murals, including a 3,000-square-foot piece at the base of the iconic Vessel along the High Line and a four-story tribute to Ruth Bader Ginsburg in the Lower East Side. Her 10,000-square-foot mural in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, represented one of her most expansive and impactful projects to date.

Continuing to push artistic boundaries, ELLE ventured into the NFT space in 2022 and collaborated with Toyota for the launch of the 2022 Corolla Cross. In 2023, she debuted a limited-edition artist bathroom suite with Kohler at Milan's historic Senate Building Plaza, spoke at Hamburg's OMR Festival alongside artist Shepard Fairey, and installed a permanent work at the STRAAT Museum in Amsterdam.

Her collaboration with Samsung culminated in an immersive pop-up gallery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. In 2024, ELLE expanded her artistic repertoire by establishing her own neon studio, opening new avenues for creative expression, while also exploring mixed-media sculpture under the guidance of a clay mentor. Currently, she is dedicated to developing large-scale sculpture prototypes, integrating materials such as ceramics, bent neon, and blown glass—skills honed at Chihuly's renowned Pilchuck Glass School in Washington.

ELLE's visionary work continues to make waves on a monumental scale. She was in Venice, Italy, for the press unveiling at the Fincantieri Shipyard, where Norwegian Cruise Line commissioned her to design the exterior hull art for their 2026 vessel, LUNA. Her artwork will span the full 1,056-foot length of the ship, as well as feature prominently on headboards and other interior elements.

In December 2024, ELLE was invited to create a mural inside the prestigious Wynwood Walls for Miami Art Week, a project completed with an integrated bent glass neon installation. Her work is also exhibited within the Wynwood Walls Gallery, underscoring her significant contributions to contemporary art.
